Wherever You Are, You're Called: Finding Purpose in Your Place
Psalm 100:1-2
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!”
As choir members, we pour our hearts into perfecting songs to glorify God. But it's easy to forget our talents are a gift, not something we earned on our own. No matter our training or ability, God called each of us to lift our voices for His praise.
When rehearsals feel tedious or ministry seems challenging, remember - you didn't choose this, but chose you. He wanted you in this role at this time for reasons known only to Him. Trust that even on days you don't feel your best, your gift is needed here .
Whether leading from the front of the choir loft or blending among the ranks, your voice adds to the harmony. An anthem falls flat without each note; a community crumbles without each piece. You complete what's begun .
If ever overcome by self-doubt, hear God whisper - this is where you belong. Seek solace in service to Him alone above praise from any other. Pour your heart out as unto the Lord, and let His love fill you up again.
No matter where you find yourself, you have been stationed as a vessel for His message of hope. So sing with abandon! Lift high the name of Jesus through every song. You prove the promise that when we offer up our talents to the Most High, He showers us with purpose in return.
